Sales Specialist – Public Sector

We are now looking for a Sales Specialists based in Gothenburg to join our Product Sales team.
At Stratsys we offer a SaaS platform that streamlines compliance in critical areas for medium to large organizations. Our solutions help public sector entities align with directives, drive operational efficiency, and ensure they are meeting governance and compliance needs.
We have established ourselves as a well-known name in the public sector, with over half of Sweden's public sector already relying on our solutions today. This strong client base provides an excellent foundation to build on, and we see significant potential for further growth in this area with our expanding product portfolio.
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and prospects, helping them find the right tools to enhance their operational processes. You will be crucial in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to deal closure.

ABOUT THE ROLE 📌
In this position, you will be responsible for new- and expansion sales of our solutions to mid-sized to large customers, primarily within municipalities and other public entities.
Amongst other tasks - the responsibilities include;
- Identify, engage, and close new sales opportunities within the Swedish market, focusing on how our SaaS solutions can transform public sector processes.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and objectives.
- Proactive prospecting and outreach to build a strong sales pipeline while taking ownership of budget, pipeline, and forecasting throughout the sales process.
- Promote Stratsys vision and value proposition through customer meetings, product demos, events, and tailored initiatives.
- Engage with potential customers, build relationships, and create awareness and interest in our products through meetings and dialogue with senior decision-makers.
- Expand and maintain a strong network within the product area and the public sector.
- Manage agreements with new and existing customers and offer guidance and support to customers during their purchase journey.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to deliver the best solutions to our clients.
We thrive on creating real value for our customers by meeting them where they are. Inbound marketing, social selling, and events are vital in building lasting relationships and driving sales. We use Hubspot as our CRM system and invest heavily in digital sales and marketing events. The role offers great opportunities and freedom to build your own business!
YOUR BACKGROUND ✔️
- University degree in Business Administration, or a similar field.
- Proven track record in sales, particularly in a B2B environment and preferably from selling SaaS/Cloud-based solutions to C-levels in public sector entities.
- Experience managing longer deal cycles, from initial prospecting to closing the deal.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Interest in digitalization and technical systems, with a willingness to learn how our products can help customers in this area.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
It's a bonus if you have…
- Experience working with municipalities or large public organizations, understanding annual reporting, strategic planning, or quality processes.
- Prior involvement in public procurement and procurement processes.
- Experience leading self-driven projects or team responsibilities.
- Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM systems.
- Understanding the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Stratsys solutions within accounts.
