ABOUT THE ROLE 📌

As an Automation & AI Engineer, you play a key role in building and scaling Stratsys’ capabilities within automation, integrations, and AI-driven solutions. The role combines software engineering, workflow automation, and modern AI technologies to create scalable solutions that drive efficiency and business value across the organization.

You work with everything from deterministic workflows and integrations to more advanced LLM- and agent-based solutions, while making pragmatic decisions around when automation is sufficient and when AI creates meaningful value.

In close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product, you identify opportunities, break down complex problems, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Since the team is still in an early stage, the role comes with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. You not only build solutions, but also help shape how we work with automation and AI long term.

Key parts of the role include:

• Developing and maintaining code-based solutions, primarily in Python, for integrations, automation, and AI applications

• Designing and implementing workflow automations using both low-code tools and custom-built solutions

• Building and deploying LLM- and agent-based solutions in production environments

• Integrating systems and data sources using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures

• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to identify automation and AI opportunities

• Contributing to the development of scalable internal AI infrastructure and platform capabilities

You are part of a small and growing team with significant opportunity to influence both technical direction and ways of working within automation and AI. The team works closely with Product AI, giving you direct exposure to product-facing AI initiatives and shared platform capabilities. Examples of initiatives on the roadmap include:

Customer Interaction Insights
AI solutions that analyze call recordings, support tickets, and user feedback to identify trends, sentiment, churn signals, and improvement opportunities.

Deal Orchestrator
An AI-powered sales coaching system that recommends next steps in deals, maps stakeholders, and identifies stalled opportunities based on CRM data and customer interactions.

Business Data Self-Service
Natural language access to business data for non-technical users.

AI Tooling & Infrastructure
Development of shared infrastructure and tooling for internal AI agents and product-related AI capabilities.

YOUR BACKGROUND ✔️

• 5–10+ years of experience within software development, automation, and integrations. Minimum 1,5+ years of hands-on experience with LLM-/agent-based solutions in production

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience building integrations using APIs, webhooks, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Experience working with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or n8n

• Experience working with AI/LLM solutions, SQL, and data-driven systems

• Bachelor or master degree within computer science, systems science, engineering, or a related field

• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken

Bonus qualifications

• Experience within the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Automate, Azure, Databricks, Dataverse)

• Experience with RAG, vector search, MCP, or observability/evals for AI systems

• Experience with CRM systems, RevOps/GTM tooling, or lightweight frontend development
